We actually bought the spikes to keep the chickens off the patio railing and kitchen windowsill. Problem solved! I also placed a strip across the top of the kitchen door (bottom section of "stable" door) to keep the goats out and it works perfectly. The spikes are very strong and even an adult Buff Orphington is no match for them. (No animals have been harmed, they simply steer clear of the spikes).
